Hank Fox, BS, AM (MGH) (2015-2016)

Hank grew up on Mercer Island, WA. He graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2015 and a Master’s in Biotechnology in 2016. While at Brown, Hank volunteered as an EMT for Brown’s 911 ambulance service and played on the varsity water polo team. He also spent time as a student researcher in RI Hospital’s Orthopaedic Trauma lab. His interests include hiking, biking, skiing, swimming, and reading. Hank is currently a first-year medical student at Oregon Health & Science University.

Megan Marshall, BA (MGH) (2014-2015)

Megan is originally from Wayne, New Jersey. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Health and Human Biology from Brown University in 2015. During college Megan was a member of the Varsity Fencing Team, and was involved with a capella groups on campus. She is now a first-year medical student at New York University.

Maggie Coats-Thomas, BS (MGH) (2013-2015)

Maggie is originally from Haworth, New Jersey. She grew up playing soccer and lacrosse and enjoys coaching youth teams. She graduated from Brown University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. She is now pursuing her MD/PhD at Northwestern.

Michelle Chang, BS (MGH) (2016-2018)

Michelle grew up in Taichung, Taiwan and has lived in the United States since high school. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgetown University in 2016. She grew up playing the violin and enjoys being part of the chamber ensemble and orchestra. At Georgetown, she served as the President of the Lombardi Ensemble Association for Patients (LEAP) and provided music for patients and their families at the Georgetown MedStar Hospital. She is currently attending Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Kathryn Welp, MS (MGH) (2017-2018)

Katy grew up in Springfield, VA. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular Biology with a minor in Sociology from Colgate University in 2016. After graduation, she attended Tufts University School of Medicine, receiving her Master’s in Biomedical Sciences in 2017. Outside of work, she volunteers as an ESOL teacher at Rosie’s Place, a homeless shelter for women in Boston. In her free time, she enjoys distance running and yoga. She is attending Tufts University School of Medicine.

David Daniels, BS (BWH) (2012-2015)

Dave is originally from Huntsville, Alabama but has called Massachusetts home for the past 10 years. He grew up playing ice hockey with additional interests in martial arts, music, and snowboarding. Dave graduated from Merrimack College in 2013 with a B.S. in Biochemistry. He is now a first-year medical student at University of Vermont.

Kimberly Glerum, BA (BWH) (2014-2015)

Kimberly is originally from New Canaan, Connecticut. She graduated from Brown University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health. While at Brown, Kimberly volunteered on Brown's 911 ambulance service as an EMT and served as co-captain of the Women's Club Tennis Team. She is now a first-year medical student at Brown University.

Muriel Solberg, BA (BWH) (2016-2018)

Muriel is originally from Rockford, IL. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Economics from Brown University in 2016. While at Brown, Muriel spent most of her time at the boathouse rowing for Brown’s Division I NCAA women’s crew team or studying in the Sciences Library. Muriel is now a first-year medical student at Yale University.

Tyler Hunt, BS (BWH) (2016-2018)

Tyler grew up in Oswego, NY. He graduated from Merrimack College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine and a Minor in Religious and Theological Studies. His primary research interests during his undergraduate years centered around biomechanics and exercise physiology. While at Merrimack he played on the Men’s Varsity Basketball team and was a student leader, and also spent time as an active member in several campus organizations. Tyler is going to Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
